Simply put, without Jon Taylor we would not have found our wonderful, San Francisco home.

When we decided to move back to San Francisco after 9 years in Colorado, we were so jaded on agents that we decided to skip getting a Broker and instead work directly with listing agents on properties. We simply did not trust anyone to represent us. All that changed when we met Jon (who was the listing agent on a property we wanted to see). Jon immediately understood both what we were looking for, and how we work. He spent countless hours showing us houses all over SF (at our request) and helping us re-affirm where we wanted to live.

In the end, we found a house exactly where we wanted to be at a price we were comfortable with. We never felt pressured to speed up our search. To the contrary, John was more patient than we were. He really did want us to find the perfect home and was happy to spend as much time with us as that required.

As out of state buyers, the process of inspections etc. could have been a nightmare. Instead, Jon and his staff helped us with each step of the process, even helping to find us a place to stay while we were here doing inspections! The help did not stop there. We have been in our house from two months and Jon is still an invaluable resource. Jon recently recommend a dry cleaners to us. More importantly, all of the work we have done on the house has been handled by (wonderful) contractors and trades people recommended by Jon.

Many times a week we remark about how happy we are, and how lucky we feel to have found someone who knows the market, the houses, and his clients so well.

In a word, what’s great about working with Jon, Linda, and James is everything.

First impression: We had been working (more by accident than by choice) with a couple agents to move from our beloved home in San Francisco to Marin County, but after several months found ourselves more confused and overwhelmed than when we started.
